I am forever trying new mouthpieces, reeds, saxophone necks, sax harnesses, etc. Am I really in need of these items? Not really. For the most part, I am satisfied with 99% of the equipment I have for my tenor sax. It boils down to this; I like trying out new stuff!
So, here I am again comparing two mouthpieces. One, the Vandoren, I have used for about 5 years. The Drake I’ve had for three years, but it is so different that I don’t play it much. At first, I didn’t think I liked it. It is growing on me, though. Let me know in the comments which you think sounds best.
