Have You Met Miss Jones – Fishing for comments dammit!

Well, here it is again. You’d think I would know this song by now as long as I have been playing it. I play it every day. It’s not that I don’t know the harmony, the chords, the structure of the song. I know the stuff as well as any novice. I just can’t seem to get it together on this tune.

Also, I am still undecided about which mouthpiece I like best. In this video, I use the Vandoren V16. It really sounds good sometimes. I was digging the Guardala but the Vandoren seems so much more consistent I guess. Let me know what you think. You can compare it to the last video I posted here, “All of Me.”

I was a music major in college. Spent 20 years in the Navy Music Program. I am now living in South Carolina. My struggles are with my weight, loneliness, and a lack of motivation to do anything about either. I still love music. I just don't have the drive I had in my 20's to chase after it anymore. I don't know what's left in this life for me. I have no desire or ambitions toward achieving anything. Is that a lack of will to live? I don't know. Here I am though. And I will be here until things are different I guess. I'm tired.
